We are delighted to be working with our client who in recent years have grown to provide all Groundwork and Civil Engineering services covering the entirety of the UK and Ireland from their office in Northern Ireland. Due to ongoing demand they now wish to recruit a Site Manager for their Omagh site. This is an exciting opportunity, with a competitive salary, for the right individual, as the company continues to grow and succeed. Key Duties/Responsibilities : Be responsible for Site Security and ensuring compliance with Company Health & Safety policies. Assist with the training and induction of new employees. Attend employee disciplinary hearings if required to do so. Report and record any site accidents to Management and log in accident book. Order materials, arrange for timely delivery and ensure storage is dry and tidy on site. Organise and control Sub-Contractors and site operatives work on site including quality, material handling and health and safety. Keep appropriate site records including time sheets, order book, site diary and health and safety records. Be prepared to attend Health & Safety and general training courses as required by the employer. Ensure all vehicles and plant are inspected and in proper working order. Report any potential health and safety risks to manager. Keep site and offices clean and tidy. Ensure all vehicles are used only for Company activities. Carry out any other task as instructed by Management deemed to be reasonable in this post. Essential Requirements: Site Manager or Assistant Site Manager experience (3years) required. Must have completed their SMSTS. Demonstrable track record of successful planning, executing, and delivering projects on time and to budget. Working knowledge of industry practice and H&S legislation including management of risk assessments. Trade or engineering background preferable. Clean driving licence. Current CSR Card.
